The Highest Excitement Challenge
A 5-day reset for the rebel soul who feels lost, stuck, and meant for more
Hey, rebel soul.
If you are reading this, some part of you already knows. You are meant for more. You feel it in the background of every ordinary day, this quiet fire that never fully goes out, finding yourself awake in a world that's blindly following what we're being told to do, born into a family where you've always been the black sheep.
I know that feeling because I lived there for years. Living out of alignment from my truth led me to get to a point where I was over 300 pounds. An addict, lonely, sick and tired all the time, working in a job that brought me down, and sitting in the waiting for a miracle to happen. Waiting for the moment to be right. Waiting for the invitation. Waiting for someone to come along and hand me the opportunity for my big moment. It never came. And if I could go back and tell that woman one thing, it would be this: stop waiting, and take charge of your life.
Here is what a rebel soul actually is, because you need to know who you are. You are not broken and you are not the black sheep. You are someone who courageously came here to break cycles and revolutionize the way things have always been done. You could never conform to the traditional life society tried to sell you, because you were never meant to. That is the assignment.
So let me hand you the invitation nobody handed me.
The one question that changed everything for me
When I was at my rock bottom, I did not make a big plan. I made one small choice. I chose to go out dancing once a week, because it was the thing that excited me most, even when people judged me for it. "Shouldn't you be home with your kids? That's not how moms behave." I shut that out and I followed my excitement anyway.
I did not know that dancing would lead to losing over 100 pounds. I did not know it would lead to me speaking on bigger stages, or falling in love with my body again. I just chose the thing that lit me up. And the moment I did that consistently, the universe started to conspire in my favor.
That is the whole method. It is called Following Your Highest Excitement, and it is the fastest way I know to get unstuck.
Here is how it works. When you are faced with any two options, you stop, you pause, and you ask yourself one question: which option excites me the most right now? Not which one you should pick. Not which one is responsible. Not which one has the best outcome. The one that excites you the most in this present moment. And then you choose that one.
When we consciously live in our highest excitement, we are saying yes to life, and we shift our frequency into a place where higher vibrational things can finally come in.
How to read your body's yes and no
Your body already knows the answer before your mind does. You just have to learn to listen.
When something is a yes for me, I feel my heart open and expand. I feel energized. I feel excited. When something is a no, I feel restricted and confined, a squeeze in my gut, in the upper part of my stomach, like something is being tightened.
Before you choose, drop out of your head and into your body. Ask the question, then notice: does this open me up, or squeeze me shut? That is your compass.
Your 5-day challenge
For the next five days, you are going to train your brain to stop, pause, and choose your highest excitement. Small stakes. Everyday choices. This is how the muscle gets built.
Day 1. The morning fork. Pick one moment in your morning with two options (the route, the coffee, the playlist, the order you do things). Ask which excites you most, feel for the yes in your body, and choose it. Write down what you noticed.
Day 2. The chore fork. Take something you "have to" do and find two ways to do it. Which excites you more? Do it that way. Notice how different obligation feels when you bring choice back into it.
Day 3. The social fork. This is the one that scares the people pleaser. When two invitations or two ways to spend your time compete, choose the one that is your genuine yes, not the one you feel obligated to say yes to. Sit with any guilt. It will pass.
Day 4. The scary fork. Pick the exciting option even though there is a little fear in it. Fear and excitement live in the same place in the body. Do the thing anyway and watch what it teaches your nervous system about being safe.
Day 5. The big one. Look at your life and name the one thing that excites you most that you have been putting off. Take one small, concrete step toward it today. Not the whole plan. One step.
At the end of the five days, look back at what you wrote. You will start to see it: the more you choose your excitement, the more life meets you halfway.
This is just the beginning
The Highest Excitement Challenge is one of five methods inside Fully Alive. On your own, it will start to shift things. But the real quantum leaps happen in the room, with other rebel souls who are choosing themselves at the same time, holding you accountable, being mirrors for you, and celebrating the version of you that is trying to come out.
