If there’s one big lesson I’ve learned, it’s that in order to live a life that is extraordinary, we need to make choices that are far from ordinary.
By choosing to stop following the pursuit of happiness that society had laid out for me, I’ve experienced physical transformations and quantum leaps that I previously thought weren’t even possible for me in this life.
Losing over 100 pounds, walking away from my corporate career, overcoming addictions, speaking on big stages, and getting to use my voice in a way that makes an impact in this world.
Before that, I was stuck in the loop of limitations…
Struggling with my addiction to food, alcohol, nicotine, drugs, social media and anything that gave me a quick hit of dopamine or escape from what I was feeling.
I was stuck people-pleasing and taking care of others, thinking that being a “good” wife and mother was measured on how much of myself I sacrificed.
Going to my job as a corporate radio broadcaster every day, saying yes, talking about things that didn’t inspire me, putting my head down and waiting for that paycheck to land or weekend to hit in order to squeeze in a bit of fun.
I was disconnected from my needs and purpose, wondering “is this really all life has to offer?”
Then one day my catalyst moment came.
Gradually at first through anxiety attacks… Then one morning after being unable to sleep that night, I called in sick to work and decided enough is enough, today is the day for change.
From what I could see, I had two options. Choose what was expected of me; call my doctor and get put back on anxiety meds–numb it all out. Or try something out of the ordinary.
That same day, I found myself experiencing my first reiki session with an intuitive woman. A moment that completely opened me up to the fact that I am an energetic being having a human experience.
As I laid on that table, I could see how my anxiety was guiding me there to that moment. To my awakening.
I knew without a doubt that I was meant to devote my life to exploring this new world full of “woo-woo” wonder.
I spent my days studying and becoming certified in energy healing, metaphysics, intuitive development, positive psychology, somatics.
And the deeper I went down this path of spiritual awakening, the more I could see that I was put on this earth to use my voice as a tool for empowerment…
To raise the damn vibration of humanity.
I did the work on my own path. I lost over 100 pounds, broke free from the addictions, remembered who the hell I am, connected with my soul’s purpose, and figured out that the secret to living a life that truly lights us up is an inside job.
I quit my radio job and started speaking on stages and in rooms that supported people on their transformation and healing journeys.
So now I’m here, supporting you on your journey of expansion. Because when we believe it’s possible for ourselves, we can make our next life fantasies this life reality.
